GNR's Chinese Democracy leaks!?

Guns 'N Roses' Chinese Democracy is the modern era's most delayed, mocked and infamous record that never was. Every year it's on the release calendar, and every year it's postponed until the next year. This has been going on since around 1994, people!! At this point, it's nothing more than an Axl Rose solo album and I'd begun to think it was only a fable spread amongst geeky music fans. But no! Apparently, the legend is real and furthermore, as of yesterday, a large portion of Chinese Democracy leaked. It has already been removed from the guilty and now instantly-famous site, but I'm sure it won't take more than a Google search or two to locate an active torrent. I haven't tried to find it yet. You see, I'm torn. It's sad really. One of the great and longstanding jokes of rock is about to die. It's like we're finally seeing Bigfoot, live and in person, guest-hosting on Regis and Kelly. The mystery is gone.

It will crush you even more when you realize that Axl had the guts to take a huge artistic gamble by exploring different musical styles, and is succeeding. Tommy Stinson (The Replacements), Robin Finck (NIN), Richard Fortus (Psychadelic Furs), Brain (Primus, Praxis, Bill Laswell), Chris Pitman (Tool), and Dizzy Reed (GN'R) form a diverse, yet incredibly talented band, who have really pushed the limits with some of this stuff. Highly recomend Cather in the Rye, and If The World--it will shock you how good it is.
